The kitchen is decided too late, and it costs everyone

The usual order is: decide to extend, appoint a builder, agree a layout, build it, then go looking for a kitchen. By then the window is where it is, the services are run, and the room dictates the design rather than the other way round. A kitchen company that gets into the conversation before that is designing instead of accommodating.

Write for people planning, not buying

What to think about before the walls go up, where services want to be, how the door and window positions constrain an island, how much space a corridor route actually needs.

These are searched months before anybody looks for a kitchen company, and almost nothing useful exists for them in an Irish context.

It changes who you are to the customer

Arriving at the end, you are one of four quotes for units. Arriving at the start, you are the person who helped them avoid an expensive mistake.

That is a different relationship and it closes at a much higher rate.

Builders and architects are the shortcut

They are in the room at the right moment and they get asked for recommendations. They recommend whoever makes their job easier — accurate drawings, delivery when promised, a fitter who does not create problems.

Those relationships are slow to build, cost nothing, and produce the steadiest work in this trade.

Offer something before the commitment

A conversation about layout before anything is committed is genuinely useful and costs you an hour. It is also the most natural possible route into the project.

Be clear it is advice rather than a quote, so nobody feels they are being sold to while their house is still a drawing.

Where this content belongs

Guides and Meta rather than search campaigns aimed at people ready to buy. You are reaching somebody six months early on purpose.

That means the follow-up has to run long enough to still be there when they are ready, which is the part most firms skip.
