Water treatment leads, from households with a problem they can see.
A very large number of Irish households are on a private well, and a great many more are on mains water hard enough to ruin a kettle in a year. Neither group thinks about water treatment until something visible happens: staining, smell, a failed test, or a new appliance destroyed by limescale.
That visibility is what makes this advertisable. We build campaigns for water treatment companies around the specific problems households can actually see, rather than around the technology that fixes them.
Everything, from the ad to the booked call.
Problem-led campaigns
Separate campaigns for iron staining, hard water, smell and bacterial failure, because people search the symptom rather than the solution.
Free water test campaigns
The natural entry point. A test produces a result, and a result produces a quote with evidence behind it.
Well-owner targeting
Aimed at the rural areas where private wells are the norm, which is far more efficient than advertising water treatment generally.
New-build and renovation campaigns
The cheapest moment to install treatment is during a build, and builders rarely raise it. The homeowner will if asked.
Social media, fully run
Posted and monitored, because before-and-after water photographs are unusually persuasive.
The form asks first, so your phone rings second.
Every campaign sends the click to a lead form that asks the qualifying questions before the enquiry reaches you. For water treatment, that means:
- 01Are you on a private well or mains water?
- 02What is the problem — staining, smell, limescale, or a failed test?
- 03Has the water been tested, and do you have the results?
- 04Is this a new build or an existing house?

People search the symptom, not the solution
Almost nobody searches for a water softener or a UV filtration system. They search for why their water smells, why the bath is staining orange, or why their shower screen will not come clean.
Campaigns built around product names miss that traffic entirely. Campaigns built around symptoms capture people at the exact moment they are trying to work out what is wrong, which is well before they have decided what to buy.
The test does the selling
A water test converts far better than a quote, because it turns an argument into evidence. A homeowner who has been told their water is hard will haggle; a homeowner holding a result will not.
It also filters properly. Households with no real problem drop out at the test stage rather than after a survey, which saves everyone time.
Wells and mains are different markets
A private well owner worries about safety — bacteria, iron, a failed test. A mains customer worries about limescale, appliances and their skin.
They respond to different language, sit in different places, and buy different equipment. One campaign for both consistently underperforms two campaigns run properly.
Private well
Safety-led. Testing, bacteria, iron and manganese. Rural targeting, higher urgency.
Hard mains water
Cost-led. Limescale, appliances, heating efficiency. Suburban targeting, longer consideration.
New build
Cheapest to install, hardest to reach. Requires catching people during construction.
€1,500 a month. Everything included.
Meta advertising fully managed, lead forms that qualify, social media fully run, all creative every month and the Friday report. Google Ads managed on top: €2,000 a month. No setup fee, no contract, month to month. Advertising spend is paid directly to the platforms and stays in your control.
Every county in Ireland.
Campaigns are built around the towns you actually cover, not a county name. Counties where we see the most demand for water treatment:
Straight answers.
Is a free water test worth giving away?
It is the strongest tool in this category. It creates evidence, it filters out households without a real problem, and it makes the quote almost automatic.
Should we target by county?
Target by water source and ground conditions rather than by county line. Well density and water hardness do not respect boundaries.
Do people understand what they are buying?
Rarely, and that is an advantage. The company that explains it plainly without jargon wins against the ones quoting specifications.
Is new build worth pursuing?
It is the cheapest install and the hardest to reach, because the decision sits with a homeowner who is overwhelmed with other choices.
How seasonal is this?
Mildly. Well problems spike after heavy rain and after dry spells, which is worth watching but not worth planning the whole year around.
What does it cost?
€1,500 a month with everything included, month to month.
