Interior design enquiries, filtered for budget before you meet.
Interior design has the worst enquiry-to-client ratio of almost any category we work in, and it is not a marketing problem. It is a filtering problem. Most enquiries come from people who want the outcome and have not understood the cost, and every one of them consumes a consultation.
So the job here is not more enquiries. It is fewer and better ones, which means putting the uncomfortable questions on the form rather than discovering the answers in a meeting.
Everything, from the ad to the booked call.
Budget-qualified lead forms
The project budget asked before the consultation, plainly. It reduces enquiry volume and raises conversion, which is the trade worth making.
Renovation-stage targeting
Aimed at homeowners who have planning permission or a builder engaged, rather than people gathering ideas.
Portfolio-led creative
Real completed Irish projects. This is a category bought entirely on visual evidence.
Service-tier campaigns
Full-service, consultation-only and e-design are different products at different prices and should not share a campaign.
Social media, fully run
Posted and monitored, because the portfolio is the credential and it has to look current.
The form asks first, so your phone rings second.
Every campaign sends the click to a lead form that asks the qualifying questions before the enquiry reaches you. For interior designers, that means:
- 01What is the project — full house, single room, or new build?
- 02What is your budget range for the works?
- 03Do you have a builder or architect engaged?
- 04What is your timeline?
- 05County and area
Then one number every Friday: spend, leads, cost per lead and what we are changing next week.
leads at €2.75 each on €57.78 of spend for a home-improvement client
qualified leads per month for a Dublin trades business
Every figure comes from a client we can put you in touch with. We do not name clients in ads or on this page. See more on the results page.
Asking about budget costs you enquiries and makes you money
Every designer worries that asking about budget on the form will frighten people away. It does, and that is the point.
The enquiries it frightens away are overwhelmingly the ones that would have consumed a consultation and gone nowhere. What remains is a smaller number of people who have already accepted that this costs money, which is the only useful kind of enquiry in this category.
Stage matters more than intent
Somebody collecting ideas on Pinterest is not a customer, however enthusiastic. Somebody with planning permission and a builder booked is a customer with a deadline.
Targeting and creative should both be aimed at the second group, even though the first is far larger and far cheaper to reach.
Three products, not one
Most designers offer several levels of service and advertise as though they offer one, which confuses the enquiry and attracts the wrong end of the market.
Full service
Highest value, longest commitment, smallest audience. Needs budget qualification above everything else.
Consultation only
A fixed-fee entry point that converts a share of clients upward. Genuinely useful as a first step.
E-design or remote
Lower price, wider catchment, no site visits. A different business and it should be advertised as one.
€1,500 a month. Everything included.
Meta advertising fully managed, lead forms that qualify, social media fully run, all creative every month and the Friday report. Google Ads managed on top: €2,000 a month. No setup fee, no contract, month to month. Advertising spend is paid directly to the platforms and stays in your control.
Every county in Ireland.
Campaigns are built around the towns you actually cover, not a county name. Counties where we see the most demand for interior designers:
Straight answers.
Will asking about budget reduce our enquiries?
Yes, substantially, and that is the intended result. You will meet fewer people and sign more of them.
Should we advertise to people at the ideas stage?
Only if you have a low-cost entry product for them. Otherwise you are paying to reach people who are years from spending.
How important is the portfolio?
It is the entire credential. Campaigns in this category succeed or fail on the quality and recency of the work shown.
Is a consultation-only tier worth offering?
For most designers, yes. It converts curiosity into a paid first step and filters out people who were never going to commit.
Do we need to be on Instagram?
In this category, genuinely yes. It is where the work gets judged, and an out-of-date grid costs you clients.
What does it cost?
€1,500 a month with everything included, month to month.
