EV charger installation leads, timed to the car purchase.

An EV charger is bought in a narrow window. Somebody orders a car, waits somewhere between a fortnight and four months for delivery, and organises the charger in the last two weeks of that wait. Reach them early and they forget you; reach them late and they have already rung whoever the dealer mentioned.

That timing problem is the whole job. We run campaigns for Safe Electric registered installers across Ireland aimed at people in the middle of that wait, with a form that captures the delivery date so you know exactly when to follow up.

What we run

Everything, from the ad to the booked call.

  • New-EV-owner campaigns

Meta ads aimed at people who have ordered rather than people who already drive, which is a much smaller and far more valuable audience.

  • SEAI grant searches on Google

The grant is the thing people search for. Ads on the SEAI home charger grant terms, landing on a page that explains what you handle for them.

  • Dealer and forecourt catchments

Targeting drawn around the dealerships that actually sell volume in your area, because that is where the orders come from.

  • Social media, fully run

Installs posted and promoted, so an installer looks established when a buyer checks before booking a survey.

  • Follow-up on delivery dates

Every lead is captured with the expected delivery date, so nobody is chased in month one and forgotten in month three.

What a qualified lead looks like

The form asks first, so your phone rings second.

Every campaign sends the click to a lead form that asks the qualifying questions before the enquiry reaches you. For ev charger installers, that means:

  1. 01Have you ordered the car, and when is it due?
  2. 02Is it a house with off-street parking, or an apartment?
  3. 03How far is the consumer unit from where the car will park?
  4. 04Are you claiming the SEAI grant?
  5. 05County and Eircode

Then one number every Friday: spend, leads, cost per lead and what we are changing next week.

Why the grant changes the conversation

The SEAI home charger grant is the single most searched thing in this category, and most installer websites mention it in one line at the bottom of a page.

That is a missed opportunity, because the person searching is not really asking about money. They are asking whether the paperwork is going to be their problem. An installer who says plainly that the grant application is handled for them converts noticeably better than one who simply lists the amount.

Apartments are a different business

An apartment install involves a management company, shared parking and frequently a landlord, and the job can take months to approve or never happen at all.

Unless you specialise in them, the lead form should filter them out early rather than filling your diary with surveys that cannot proceed. We ask the question on the form for exactly that reason.

Competing with the dealership

Most buyers are offered a charger by the dealer at the point of sale, usually at a price that includes a comfortable margin for the dealer.

You are not competing on convenience there and you will rarely win on it. What you can win on is price transparency, a named local installer and a date that suits the customer rather than the dealership's partner network.

The price, before the call

€1,500 a month. Everything included.

Meta advertising fully managed, lead forms that qualify, social media fully run, all creative every month and the Friday report. Google Ads managed on top: €2,000 a month. No setup fee, no contract, month to month. Advertising spend is paid directly to the platforms and stays in your control.

Where we work

Every county in Ireland.

Campaigns are built around the towns you actually cover, not a county name. Counties where we see the most demand for ev charger installers:

Questions we get asked

Straight answers.

Is this market not dominated by the big national installers?

They have scale and dealer relationships. They do not have local presence or flexibility on dates, and both of those win a good share of jobs when a buyer actually compares.

How far ahead of delivery should we advertise?

Reach them during the wait, not before the order. The form captures the delivery date so the follow-up is timed rather than guessed.

Do you handle the SEAI grant messaging?

We write it. Whether you actually complete the application for the customer is your call, but saying so clearly is worth real money either way.

What about commercial and fleet installs?

A separate campaign entirely. The buyer, the budget cycle and the sales length have nothing in common with a homeowner.

Do I need to be Safe Electric registered?

For the grant, yes, and we will not run grant-led campaigns for an installer who is not. It would generate enquiries you cannot fulfil.

What does it cost?

€1,500 a month with everything included. No setup fee, month to month, and ad spend is paid directly to the platforms.
