Removals leads, timed to the closing date.
A removals company's year is decided by somebody else's calendar. Moves cluster around property closings, school holidays and the end of the month, and the summer carries a disproportionate share of the whole year's work.
That concentration is the opportunity and the risk. We build campaigns around when moves actually happen rather than spreading a budget evenly across a year that is anything but even.
Everything, from the ad to the booked call.
Seasonal budget weighting
Spend concentrated into the summer peak and the end-of-month clusters, rather than flat across twelve months.
Home-mover campaigns
Aimed at people who have sale-agreed or signed, which is a much smaller and far more valuable audience than people who are idly considering.
Office and commercial moves
A separate, larger, slower sale run as its own campaign.
Storage cross-sell
If you have storage, it should be advertised to the movers you already have rather than bought separately.
Social media, fully run
Posted and monitored, because people are handing over everything they own and they look you up first.
The form asks first, so your phone rings second.
Every campaign sends the click to a lead form that asks the qualifying questions before the enquiry reaches you. For removals companies, that means:
- 01What is the moving date?
- 02Moving from where, to where?
- 03House size, or roughly how many rooms?
- 04Do you need packing, or transport only?
- 05Do you need storage between dates?
Then one number every Friday: spend, leads, cost per lead and what we are changing next week.
leads at €2.75 each on €57.78 of spend for a home-improvement client
cost per lead on a live trades campaign
Every figure comes from a client we can put you in touch with. We do not name clients in ads or on this page. See more on the results page.
Timing beats targeting in this category
Almost everybody moves house eventually, so audience targeting does relatively little work here. What matters is catching somebody in the four to six weeks between agreeing a sale and needing a van.
Reach them earlier and they will not remember you. Reach them later and they have booked. The whole campaign is built to hit that window, which is why the lead form asks for the date first.
The summer peak cuts both ways
Summer carries the volume, and it is also when every competitor is advertising and when your own capacity is tightest.
The companies that do well here advertise hardest slightly before the peak, to book the diary in advance, and then pull back when they are full rather than paying to generate enquiries they have to turn away.
Quotes are where the money leaks
Most removals enquiries end in a quote, and most quotes are lost to the company that responded first with a real number rather than a request for a survey.
That is a follow-up problem, not an advertising problem, and it is the single biggest thing we look at before recommending any increase in budget.
€1,500 a month. Everything included.
Meta advertising fully managed, lead forms that qualify, social media fully run, all creative every month and the Friday report. Google Ads managed on top: €2,000 a month. No setup fee, no contract, month to month. Advertising spend is paid directly to the platforms and stays in your control.
Every county in Ireland.
Campaigns are built around the towns you actually cover, not a county name. Counties where we see the most demand for removals companies:
Straight answers.
When should we advertise hardest?
Slightly before the summer peak, to fill the diary in advance. Advertising at the peak means competing with everyone at the highest prices.
Should we stop when we are full?
Yes, and most companies do not. Paying to generate enquiries you turn away costs money and reputation at the same time.
Are commercial moves worth chasing?
Larger and steadier, but a slower and more procurement-led sale. They need their own campaign, not a line on the domestic page.
Do people book on price?
Many do, which is why response speed matters more than budget. The first credible quote wins a large share of moves.
Can we advertise storage separately?
You can, but it is usually cheaper to sell it to movers you already have than to buy storage enquiries cold.
What does it cost?
€1,500 a month with everything included, month to month.
